ANNETTE FISHER serves as the Chief of Marketing and Air Service Development Division for the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA). She is responsible for the management of MAA’s Marketing, Air Service Development, Communications, Customer Experience, and Corporate and Community Relations at the busiest airports in the region, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) and Martin State Airport (MTN). Fisher brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications to lead the planning, development, and execution of MAA’s mission and strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Maryland Aviation Administration, Fisher’s award-winning career includes all facets of marketing and communications as a marketing strategist, radio cohost, television news producer, and print journalist, along with experience in non-profit, city, and state agencies. She has been recognized for numerous awards, among them two prominent Emmy awards for airport marketing campaigns and several national awards with the American Heart Association. She lends her expertise to the Airport Minority Advisory Council, Airport Council International, and Visit Baltimore’s Marketing/Communications. Fisher holds an Executive MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the College of Notre Dame, and a life learner of ongoing training and certifications. She is passionate about her Baltimore community, mentoring high school young girls and creating unforgettable experiences. She loves playing golf, enjoying her hobby of candid photography, traveling, and creating memories with family and friends.
