MAA Chaperones Needed!!
2024 Summer Youth Initiative: July 22-26th
Each summer the Maryland Aviation Administration brings 50 Baltimore City students, ranging in age from 11-17, inside the fascinating worlds of aviation and transportation for one immersive week of exploration and learning at BWI Marshall and CCBC Catonsville.
Chaperone Opportunities
Full Day Chaperone – Along with a chaperone from Baltimore City Rec and Parks, lead a group of about ten campers through all activities during the day.
Pre-Program Setup – Assist with preparing materials for the programs, staging program locations, and other set up needed in the weeks and days leading up to the program.
Morning Helper – Ensure campers make it safely from the curb and inside to the terminal. Assist with distributing t-shirts and everything else the campers will need for the day.
Afternoon Helper – Ensure campers make it safely from the from the terminal to the correct bus each afternoon. Assist with any needed break down and set up for the following day.
Photographer – Help capture all the magic, fun, and memorable moments of Summer Youth Initiative. Just bring your phone!
Please indicate which days you are available to chaperone. Please note that completing this form does not confirm your participation. Interested employees will be contacted directly to be assigned a chaperone role. All chaperones are responsible for receiving authorization from their supervisor prior to their chaperone shift.
