Annette Fisher is the Chief of Marketing and Air Service Development at the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) which owns and operates Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI) and Martin State Airports (MTN). She is responsible for management oversight and strategic planning for the offices of Marketing, Air Service Development, Communications, Customer Experience, and Corporate and Community Relations.
Ms. Fisher brings more than 25 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Media Relations, Strategic Planning, Program management and execution to the division.
Under her leadership, she has been recognized with two prominent Emmy awards for BWI Marshall airport marketing campaigns in 2018 and 2019. In addition, she is best known in media circles for her savvy television news producing expertise with local and national news coverage stories and marketing successes during her career showcasing year-round initiatives and policy legislative wins in Annapolis.
She is active in several trade industry organizations, serving as Vice Chair of Marketing and Communications for the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC), member for Marcom’s Airport Council International (ACI), and Visit Baltimore’s Marketing and Communications Committee.
Ms. Fisher earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, an Executive MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
