NOTICE

Starting September 5th, 2024, some residents may notice a change in the location of aircraft flight patterns arriving to BWI Marshall Airport. On that date, the FAA published new Performance Based Navigation (PBN) arrival procedures into BWI Marshall Airport. The arrival and departure procedures, which went into effect July 11th, are part of changes that have been under consideration since 2018. The revised procedures were developed in conjunction with the FAA and MAA and reviewed by the MAA’s consultants, the Technical Committee of the DC Metroplex BWI Community Roundtable (Roundtable), and airline industry representatives.
